We Won a Creative Bath Award!

All of us at Soul Media were very proud to be declared the winner of the Photography category at the Creative Bath Awards 2019. It was a truly humbling experience to have been recognised in this way. 

The three directors of Soul, Sam Jess & Giulia cannot thank all our clients, friends, supporters enough. Over the years we’ve been supported in our growth both personally and professionally, through tears, laughter and all-nighters editing. The loyalty, support and trust shown through the early days of trial and error was second to none; allowing us to try new things so we could grow and improve. Without that custom, ongoing support, loyalty, trust and recommendations we would not be where we are now. We are exceptionally lucky to be part of such a great team working with some really awesome people.

As many people can often relate to… it is one thing to rave about someone else and another to talk about yourself. So whereas talking about and creating great media for others, whilst advising them on how to best use it to help further their own events and businesses is something that comes more naturally to the team; talking about ourselves was not. Receiving this award has really boosted our confidence to start putting ourselves out there more and for that, the team is very thankful.

If we can use this experience to offer any advice to other creative industry professionals and especially students, it’s to be proud of your work, progression and achievements, always throw passion at it, never stop learning and keep moving forward. Most importantly as we’ve just learned, don’t be afraid to talk to others about what you do with confidence.
